Location: Arusha, Tanzania
These Terms & Conditions govern your booking and travel experience with Empire Travel Safaris. By confirming a booking, you agree to these terms in full.
Booking and Confirmation
A booking is confirmed once we receive a deposit (see Payment Policy). All bookings are subject to availability and will be confirmed in writing.
Itinerary Changes
Minor changes may occur due to weather, wildlife movement, or local conditions. We reserve the right to modify the itinerary in your best interest, always ensuring safety and quality of experience.
Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is mandatory for all guests. Guests must show proof prior to leaving for safari.
You must be covered for cancellations, delays, medical emergencies, evacuation, theft, and personal liability. Empire Travel Safaris is not liable for losses arising from inadequate or missing coverage.
Health & Safety
Please inform us of any medical conditions, allergies, or mobility concerns at the time of booking.
Guests must adhere to safety instructions from our team. Empire Travel Safaris is not liable for injuries resulting from negligence or failure to follow safety protocols.
COVID-19 Policy
We comply with the Tanzanian government's current COVID-19 guidelines. If you show symptoms prior to or during the safari, you must inform us immediately.
In the event of illness or cancellation related to COVID-19, our Cancellation & Refund Policy applies.
Child Policy
Children aged 5 and above are welcome on most safaris. Some activities (e.g., walking safaris, night drives) may have minimum age limits. Children must be supervised at all times by a responsible adult. Please enquire with us. We would love to have the kiddies come along too!
Code of Conduct
We ask all guests to show respect for guides, staff, fellow traveler's, and local communities. Please avoid disruptive behaviour, loud noise, or excessive alcohol consumption. Respect wildlife, do not litter, and follow all park and guide instructions. Dress modestly in community areas.
Responsible Travel
We are committed to ethical, low-impact tourism. We support local communities, minimize environmental impact, and encourage respectful cultural exchange. We work closely with tribes such as the Maasai, Hadzabe, and Datoga in ways that are authentic and non-exploitative.
Liability
We act as agents for accommodation providers, transport services, and activity operators. While we carefully select all partners, we are not liable for their actions. We are also not liable for loss, injury, or damage caused by factors beyond our control (see Force Majeure).
Force Majeure
Events such as natural disasters, pandemics, political unrest, or government actions that delay or prevent services are not grounds for refunds. In these cases, we may offer rescheduling as a goodwill gesture, depending on circumstances.
Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Tanzania. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Tanzania.
